Latin America, held from November 5 to 7, 2024, in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"386\" data-end=\"637\">During the event, Dr. Alonso presented the study on the \u201cPenalty Point Driving Licence,\u201d developed in collaboration with the Ale\u00e1tica Foundation, which led to a workshop focused on the importance of this system as a key tool for improving road safety.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"639\" data-end=\"939\">Organized by the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety, the meeting addressed the most urgent challenges facing the road safety community in Latin America, with the aim of strengthening the Alliance\u2019s network and its regional chapter, promoting coordinated action among participating organizations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"1218\">Additionally, attendees were informed about INTRAS\u2019s participation in the new DS4M Mediterr\u00e1neo project, a groundbreaking initiative in data management for the Mediterranean Corridor, aimed at fostering cooperation and innovation in the field of intelligent transport systems.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1453\">The meeting also served to mobilize NGOs in the region ahead of the upcoming Global Ministerial Conference, with the goal of advocating for adequate investment to implement people-centered, evidence-based interventions to save
