DS4M Mediterráneo

About the DS4M Mediterráneo Project

DS4M Mediterráneo (Data Space for Mobility) is an initiative promoted by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function and funded by the European Union through Next Generation EU funds, under the framework of the Sectoral Data Spaces Promotion Plan. This project is led by the Instituto Universitario de Investigación de Tráfico y Seguridad Vial (INTRAS) and also involves collaboration with other research centers of the University of Valencia, such as the Instituto Universitario de Investigación de Robótica y Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (IRTIC), as well as support from important institutions like the Sistemas Inteligentes de Transporte (ITS Spain).

The main objective of this project is the creation of a Mobility Data Space in the Mediterranean Corridor to improve sustainable mobility (connected, efficient, safe, inclusive, and responsible), facilitate and support the development of Access Points, and promote strategic digital autonomy and data quality.
