The DS4M Mediterráneo Project Present at the 1st Meeting of University Chairs on Mobility

Dr. Francisco Alonso, Director of INTRAS, took part in the 1st Meeting of University Chairs on Sustainable Mobility, held in Alicante on February 11, 2025.
Mobility is undergoing major transformation and facing important challenges such as sustainability, decarbonization, the new habits of younger generations, and the growing presence of shared and multimodal mobility. This is perhaps why, in recent years, more and more universities have created various chairs for reflection and research on this subject.
During this 1st Meeting of University Chairs on Sustainable Mobility, the most relevant projects and studies in the field of mobility from the different chairs were presented.
Dr. Alonso briefly shared his experience in the SEOFER Chair of Road Safety and Intelligent Mobility, and also presented details of the new project “DS4M Mediterráneo: Data Space for Mobility”, funded by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service through the call “Demonstrators and Use Cases for Data Spaces.”
