At DS4M Mediterráneo, we have taken decisive steps toward our goal of transforming sustainable mobility through the value of data.
In this newsletter, we take stock of these past months of activity and share our recognition, milestones, and progress.
Recognition
DS4M Mediterráneo was selected as an eligible Data Space for the purposes of the Data Spaces Kit, having been deployed under the Sectoral Data Spaces Promotion Plan.
DS4M Mediterráneo was recognized as an Operational Data Space at the national level by CRED (formerly known as the Data Space Reference Center, now the Data Economy Reference Center).
On May 22, 2026, DS4M Mediterráneo was recognized as a Trusted Data Space at the national level by CRED.
Milestones
Over 200 collaborating entities
The project's collaboration network has grown to over two hundred joining entities.
Over half a million euros in grants
DS4M Mediterráneo helped manage the Data Spaces Kit, securing over half a million euros in grant funding for eligible participants.
Presence at forums, congresses, and conferences
DS4M Mediterráneo has consolidated its presence at major sector forums across the country, positioning the project as a benchmark in the mobility Data Spaces field. Highlights include:
First National Data Spaces Meeting organized by CRED

DS4M Mediterráneo hosted a hackathon on secure data sharing
The event was organized by ONKLUB and INTRAS, supported by València Innovation Capital and València City Council, bringing together students and young talent for two days to address real-world challenges in secure data sharing.
Participants competed for over €1,000 in prizes, specialized mentoring, and networking opportunities to build out their ideas.
This hackathon is another initiative reaffirming DS4M Mediterráneo's commitment to achieving sustainable, connected, efficient, safe, inclusive, and responsible mobility.
Awareness and Outreach Campaign
We carried out an extensive communication campaign to raise awareness and highlight the opportunities of the Data Economy and Data Spaces in the mobility sector. Through dynamic media and outdoor formats, we promoted the strategic benefits of the DS4M Mediterráneo project for businesses, public authorities, and regional stakeholders.
