The latest #ForoPlaza meeting brought to the table one of the major challenges facing our cities: how to advance towards autonomous, sustainable, and connected mobility that reaches every corner of the Valencian Community.
The event, organized by Valencia Plaza, was chaired by Enrique Lucas (Valencia Plaza) and brought together voices from a wide range of strategic backgrounds: Francisco Alonso, director of INTRAS with over 30 years of expertise in the sector; Juan Bueno (Movea Consulting); Javier Rodríguez Navarro (Power Electronics); Joan Lostado Soriano (Transvia Go); José Antonio Moreno (ATMV); Ildefonso Pastor González (Uber); Antonio García Celda (València City Council); Vicente Dómine, Regional Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport of the Generalitat Valenciana; and Alejandro Escribano and José Manuel del Arco Juan (Ediciones Plaza).
The debate was both profound and rigorous. It addressed the essential role of interurban nodes as hubs for anchoring this new mobility, as well as an increasingly strategic issue: the value of data. The ability to achieve real-world solutions and develop effective policies based on reliable information drawn from Data Spaces opens up a whole new dimension in transport planning.
It was a much-needed space for reflection to build more inclusive cities that are better prepared for the future challenges of mobility.
